I purchased a Golf R from Simon and the experience was brilliant. Simon is old school where a handshake still holds value. The car was exactly as described, clean and well looked after. I did suffer a sensor issue about a week after collection and true to his word Simon covered the costs for the works. I will be recommending Simon to others and when I am next in the market, I will certainly be in contact with him.

I saw a great car on the company website at a great price however due to where we live we were unable to physically view the vehicle. Instead we viewed all the detail, video and spoke to Simon regarding the vehicle. It was a risk for us to by the vehicle without seeing however upon arrival it was exactly as described and i couldnt have been happier. I did have a small issue with the alarm a few weeks afterwards however as promised by Simon he has honoured fixing any issues i may have encountered and now i have the perfect car. Simon was fantastic right from the first enquiry even to now 3.5 months after purchase. We arranged a viewing to suit my timeschedule and he allowed me to be the first to view even though it was a week in advance. Upon viewing I left a deposit and we agreed on work to be completed - MOT, their was an issue to do with airbag system, which Simon sourced and had repaired before the MOT and before collection. Understandably there was a delay as he had to source the part from main dealer, but he kept me completely informed the whole time. He then arranged a convenient location for us to handover/collect the car which was half way between my place and his. His office was alovely and professional setting with all relevant paperwork receipts etc. Further to this he offered to pay towards a part I had replaced which was a lovely gesture and gratefully received.I couldn't recommend SPV anymore and will definitely use them again in the future, only downside I could possibly mention is he a bit far from me but even still he met me half way when the car was ready. Honestly could not fault him, so incredibly genuine as well as professional, friendly completely reliable and great communication.Thanks again Simon.

Poor communication, enquired on the RS3 in blue, fully specced. Big discrepancy which I raised about the MOT. Clearly been put through for a 12 month MOT with previous advisories not sorted

Wonderful to deal with, and couldn't do enough to make it as easy as possible to view and inspect the car.Simon was even prepared to organise the delivery in person to make sure all was okay, and offered to help with the road tax before leaving with was very much appreciated and taken up. Great service. Good price. Very clean when delivered. Nice no hassle experience. Would certainly use again and would recommend to others.

Factually as a single retired woman with little experience of buying a car, this process could have been very challenging.I found the car was beautifully prepared and met all advertised expectations. The SPV Team provided clear and totally honest answers to my queries, with documented evidence of the cars history as backup.Never once did I feel pressured to buy but once the decision was made, the team went out of their way to make the paperwork around the purchase painless. This included, personal number plate transfer, taxing and disposal of my old vehicle. Every aspect of their service was carried out in a highly professional but very kind way. I cannot fault their service and will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Service good but the pick up truck not so good.

Hi Chris Thanks for the review. I understand your frustration and concern that the low coolant level you noticed fuelled your concern of a possible head gasket issue. As agreed at the time I took the truck immediatly to a specialist garage who carried out a pressure and colour test to determine if any issues were present and the result came back positively with no underlying issue found. This was fed back to you straight away but you chose on the advice of a friend not to proceed, your choice no problem. Cosmetically we agreed that the general overall condition for a 10 year old working commercial vehicle was reasonable, we went for a test drive no issues. I appreciate you travelled with every intention of buying the truck and I tried as best as I could to resolve this concern and I am genuinely sorry that it wasn’t to be. I wish you all the best in your ongoing search for something suitable.

No hesitation at all in recommending Simon and SPV Automotive. Recently (December 2023) purchased an Audi TT for my daughter. Simon was available on short notice and let us view and drive the car in a really relaxed manner. We got a good trade in vale for my daughter’s old car and the whole process was very friendly, quick and easy. As for the car itself, well that is fabulous and my daughter is thrilled. I would absolutely recommend Simon and SPV.

I bought a BMW 440i in May 2023 from Simon. In the last 6 months ownership I have had many issues with this car. Starting off with having no wheel locking nuts on the car. The front 2 alloys were missing nuts. I had an LCI right hand side brake light that had failed due to having condensation build up. I tried contacting Simon many times to get this light replaced. However, he always ignored my text messages and only sorted the problem when I threatened to bring the car back to him. I find it disgusting how he would let one of his customers drive around with a failed brake light for 3 months!! Also, the neck warming buttons for my seats have packed in. I messaged Simon about this issue and also the vibration in the steering wheel. Still to this day Simon still hasn't replied to me. What's the point in having a warranty with the garage if he doesn't reply to issues that I am having? I am disgusted with my experience I have had with this dealership and I would return the car tomorrow if I could and go to a better dealership that actually responds to their customers. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone.

Hi Luke Im genuinely sorry that you felt the need to post this review. Earlier issues with the car were resolved in agreement with you and you were satisfied. You did contact me recently unfortunately this was whilst I was away abroad on holiday and I completely forgot to reply to your message, for this I have put my hand up and apologised unreservedly this is out of character for me and not up to my normal standard of customer service. It is a shame you didn’t chase me up on this and chose to write this review instead. I have every intention of helping you with the fixing your neck warming button and trying to find out what is making your steering wheel vibrate, please understand at no stage have I said that I am not prepared to help you and I am still more than happy to do so. I have left various messages for you via text and phone and as soon as you respond I will get any necessary works carried out, alternatively if you have undertaken any repairs off your own back please let me know and I will be happy to reimburse you in full.
